The IfA company emergency first aid course concentrates on the workplace. It takes place once a week on 3 different days.
The course covers the correct behaviour in emergencies concerning conscious and unconscious patients and patients suffering from spinal injuries.
The prospective first aid helper will learn to recognise signs of respiratory dysfunctions and how to provide artificial respiration on a patient. They’ll learn how to deal with external bleeding and how to recognise patients suffering from shock. They’ll also learn how to recognise cardiac arrest and how to perform cardiac massage and use a defibrillator (AED). They’ll be taught what the emergency measures are for burns, chemical burns and electrical accidents. The helper will be able to recognise signs of various illnesses such as heart attacks and strokes.
Costs and conditions
Basic course/person: CHF 650.-
Number of participants: 12 people
Deregistration will be allowed up until 10 days before the course is due to begin, otherwise the course costs will be charged.
The course may be cancelled at short notice if too few people sign up.
You will receive a confirmation, which will also function as an invitation after successfully signing up for the course.
